Nicola Rothera
Podiatrist BSc (Hons) Podiatry
I graduated from the University of Huddersfield in 2010 and gained a mixture of experience in the NHS and private practice in the UK in all areas of Podiatry.
I moved to Perth in February 2020 with my husband and 2 children.
I enjoy all aspects of Podiatry in particular, diabetic foot care, foot pain and the management of ingrowing toenails and I am constantly expanding my skills to ensure you receive the best treatments available. I love making a difference and seeing people walk out of the clinic feeling comfortable and happy.
Tore Graneri
Psychologist
I assist people with a number of issues including depression, anxiety,
confidence building, self-esteem, relationship issues, anger and stress
management. Believing that counselling offers a safe place to cultivate
greater self-awareness, acceptance and to nurture change, my philosophy is
that people deserve to be empowered and supported to be the best they can
be. The approach I take is highly individualised, supportive and empathetic.
I am committed to providing respectful and effective therapy that is guided
by the ethical code.
I use a variety of therapeutic models including Cognitive Behavioural
Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Reality Therapy and
Positive Psychology. My practice integrates these main models including
practical solution focussed approaches which ensures that you see positive
results in a short period of time whilst also addressing underlying issues
that ensures long lasting change.
With over 10 years’ experience in diverse settings, I have worked in both
the public and private mental health settings. These have provided me with
extensive experience working with individuals, couples and groups. I have
experience working with school aged children, adolescents, adults, older
adults, people undergoing medico-legal issues and those living with a
disability. I’m committed to professional development and regularly attend
conferences and workshops to keep up to date with the latest research and
treatments.
When you come to see myself for counselling or psychotherapy, you bring
whatever problems or issues you want to talk about to a private and
confidential setting. I will not be judgemental or tell you what to do. You
will be provided with a safe and thoughtful place where you are listened to,
taken seriously and challenged constructively. This process will help you
better understand yourself and the current issues you are facing so that you
can then make changes in your life if you wish to do so.
